Windows Server 2003 Unplanned Shutdown

If your Windows Server 2003 VPS was shutdown or rebooted unexpectedly, you might be presented with the Shutdown Event Tracker window on your next login.

This window must be attended to before being able to continue using the VPS in a normal manner. You will find the OK button is disabled when first presented with this window as shown in the image below.

Enabling the OK button simply requires entering text into the Comment field.

After entering some text into the Comment field, click the OK button to continue on to your VPS' remote desktop.
